Paper Puzzles

Almost every morning my sisters and I wake up early and draw in our classroom. While we draw we laugh and joke around. Then suddenly, I had the idea of cutting up the picture I was drawing and making it into a puzzle.
Here is the puzzle I made.

My youngest sister named Christiana, wanted me to draw this picture of Rapunzel because she is a big fan of the movie Tangled.

Make Your Own Paper Dolls

One day I was playing paper dolls with my sisters. I had the idea of making my own paper dolls. I first traced the dolls that we already had. I then cut them out. I even designed my own clothes for the dolls. I came up with names for each paper doll.

Here are some links my mom found online so you can print out your own paper dolls. You may color them in and design them the way you want.

Butterfly Hearts

One day I was making crafts then I had the idea of making a butterfly. I first folded one piece of paper into fourths. Then I drew a heart and I cut it out. After cutting I had four hearts. I glued two hearts together for the wings of the butterfly. I then  made the body and antennas out of paper.  I made a little butterfly using the scrap paper from cutting my hearts.

Pipe Cleaner Jewelry

My sisters love to play with jewelry. Then one day I decided to surprise my sisters by making some pipe cleaner jewelry. Here are some of the things I made.

Clip on Pipe Cleaner Earrings with Sequins

 Pipe Cleaner Headband
Pipe Cleaner Necklace
Pipe Cleaner Bracelet and Ring

Here are the things you will need for these crafts.
1. Pipe Cleaners
2. Scotch Tape or Glue
3. Scissors
4. Sequins

Here is how I made the earrings.
First I took a pipe cleaner and cut it in half. I twisted it around into a little circle. I then bent up one end and used that to make the part that clips onto your ear.

Here is how I made the headband.
First I took two pipe cleaners of different colors and twisted them together. I then took another pipe cleaner and twisted it to the ends of the first pipe cleaners. This then made a circle. The twisted part of the headband sits on the top of your head and the other end goes under your hair.

Here is how I made the necklace.
First I took two pipe cleaners of different colors and twisted them together. Then I took two more pipe cleaners and twisted them together. I then twisted them both together. Then I made a little circle at the end of one side and then bent the other side. I put the bent side into the circle side so they clip on around your neck.

I hope you enjoy this craft as much as I did.

Pajama Drawings

I love coloring it is my favorite activity. I have been doing it ever since I was a little girl. I started this blog to share with you some of my arts and crafts.
The first drawing I want to share is the one I made of my sisters and I.  I drew it one morning when we were all in our pajamas. I drew the picture a few months before my baby brother was born.
I drew the exact pajamas that each of us were wearing that morning.
